Consular services

Passports, visas, registration, and proof of life

The consular services section follows the reference portal structure: passports, visas, citizen registration, and proof of life certifications. Final requirements should be confirmed with the Valencia office before publication.

Passports

Passport procedures: passport renewal, passport for minors, and first-time passport.

  • Adult passport renewal requires the applicant to appear in person at the consulate for data collection, photo capture, and document validation.
  • Application form, fingerprint form, and signature form signed at the consulate.

Visas

The reference page handles visas with a short exemption note for Japanese citizens and a consultation channel for other nationalities. For Valencia, this must be replaced with the rule applicable to Spanish citizens, residents in Spain, and other nationalities.

  • State whether the applicant's nationality requires a visa to travel to Panama.
  • Route uncovered passport or nationality cases to the official consulate email.
