- Deck: Deck Cadet, Ordinary Seaman, Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch II/4, Bosun II/4 or II/5, and Able Seafarer Deck II/5.
- Engine: Engine Cadet, Electro-Technical Cadet, Wiper, Oiler III/4, Motorman III/4 or III/5, Able Seafarer Engine III/5, and Electro-Technical Rating III/7.
